Ten types of screen, all made to measure
We build every screen in aluminium to the exact size and colour of your window or door. We also work with German, Italian and Turkish systems, so we can match almost any opening.
Retractable
Pull it across when you want fresh air, fold it back when you don’t. This is the one most people pick.
Roller
Rolls up into a slim box. We can set it to roll from the top, the left or the right.
Zipline (Plain Mesh)
Flat mesh that rolls to one side and sits inside zip tracks for a tight, sealed fit.
Pleated
Folds like a concertina. Single-sided for normal windows, double-sided for wider ones.
Blind Screen
A fly screen on one side and a blind on the other. One keeps insects out, the other controls light and privacy.
Fixed
A fixed panel for windows you hardly ever open. The simplest and cheapest option we make.
Hinged Door
A screen door on hinges for villa entrances and balconies. It opens just like a normal door.
Magnetic
Walk straight through and it closes itself on a magnetic strip. Good for busy doorways.
Wide-Span
For big openings like pergolas and patios, up to 6 m high and 12 m wide.
Motorised
Opens and closes with a remote. Handy for large or high windows you can’t reach easily.
Why people choose us
We have been fitting screens across the UAE since 2017, in more than 1,200 homes. A few things make us different.
No drilling, no damage
We use strong double-sided tape instead of screws, so there are no holes and no marks on your windows or doors. If you ever move, the screens come off cleanly.
See-through mesh, full airflow
The Italian mesh is fine and clear. You still see outside and feel the breeze, but insects and dust stay out.
German, Italian & Turkish systems
We keep all three systems in stock, which no other company in the UAE does. So we always have the right one for your opening.
5-year frame warranty
Five years on the aluminium frame and one year on the mesh. We stand behind every job.

Your quick guide to fly screens & mosquito nets
Short, useful answers on types, mesh and coverage. Tap any question to read more.
People search for this in a lot of ways: fly screen, mosquito net, mosquito mesh, insect screen, fly mesh, insect mesh or insect net. They all mean the same thing, a fine mesh over a window or door that keeps insects out and still lets the air through.
We make every kind to measure in aluminium, so whatever name you use, we can sort it out for you. What changes is the frame and how it opens, such as retractable, roller or fixed.
The mesh is the part that does the work. We use a fine, see-through mesh in either fibreglass or polyester, so you keep the view and the airflow while insects and dust stay out. Both handle the sun here and rinse clean with water.
It comes in black, grey or charcoal, and the darker shades usually give the clearest view from inside. If your old mesh has stretched or torn, we can replace just the mesh on retractable and sliding screens rather than the whole unit.
This is also why a made-to-measure screen beats a cheap pre-cut net from a shop. A shop net comes in a fixed size and is usually held on with hooks or loose tape that rarely matches your frame, so small gaps appear at the edges and insects still find their way in. Because we cut every screen to the exact opening and run it in its own channel, the seal is clean the whole way around and the mesh sits flat instead of sagging. It also means the finished screen looks like part of the window rather than an add-on, and you can see the full range of fly screen types we make.
For windows, most people go with a retractable screen. The mesh pulls across when you want air and folds away when you don’t. A roller or zipline screen rolls into a slim box, a fixed screen suits windows you rarely open, and a pleated screen handles wider gaps.
Whatever you choose, it is cut to your exact window size in the colour you want. If you just need a simple mosquito net for a bedroom window, the fixed or roller option is usually the cheapest way to do it.
A common worry is the view. The mesh is transparent and the aluminium frame is slim, so once it is fitted you mostly stop noticing it, and plenty of daylight still comes in. If the view really matters, say for a sea or skyline window, we can use a finer, lighter mesh. Darker mesh colours like charcoal also look clearer from inside than white does, which surprises most people.
In practice, most homes start with the rooms that get opened the most. Bedrooms come first for cool night air, then the kitchen to clear cooking smells and steam, and the living room for the breeze in the cooler months. A window fly screen sits behind your existing curtains or blinds and does not change how the window looks from inside, so you lose nothing in style by adding one. If you are not sure which rooms to do, we can walk through it with you at the measurement and you only screen what you actually use. A retractable fly screen is the usual pick here, and there is more on our fly screens for windows page.
Doors need a screen you can actually walk through. A magnetic screen closes itself behind you on a magnetic strip, a hinged screen opens like a normal door, and a retractable screen pulls across and folds away. We make all of them to measure for villa entrances, balcony doors and sliding patio doors, so you get a proper door screen instead of a loose net.
We also make a few specialist screens. A blind screen is two in one, with a fly screen on one side and a blind on the other, so you can choose fresh air or shade from the same frame. A zipline screen uses flat mesh in zip tracks for a tighter seal on exposed openings.
For large or hard-to-reach openings, a motorised screen opens with a remote, and wide-span systems cover pergolas and glass fronts up to about 6 m by 12 m. All of them are fitted with the same no-drilling method.
Doors get used far more than windows, so the hardware behind the screen matters even more. On a busy main door, a magnetic or self-closing screen shuts on its own every time, which stops it being propped open and quietly letting insects in all evening. If you have young children or pets, a hinged screen door or a retractable screen on a sturdy track usually lasts longer than a light pull-across net, because it is built to take daily knocks. We look at how each door is actually used and suggest the most hard-wearing option rather than the cheapest one, so it still slides smoothly years later.
We measure and fit across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman, including Emaar communities such as The Springs, Meadows and JVC, plus apartments and villas in between. The home visit is free with no pressure to buy, so you can compare a proper made-to-measure price against any off-the-shelf net first.
A lot of our work is villas in communities like The Springs, Meadows and Arabian Ranches, where people screen the bedroom windows, the kitchen and the main door. Retractable and pleated screens are the usual choice there because they fold away and suit larger openings.
In apartments and towers the common job is the balcony sliding door and a window or two, where a roller or zipline screen sits neatly on the track. Because we fit with tape rather than screws, it works well for rented apartments too, since nothing is drilled and the screen comes off cleanly when you move out.
For a whole villa we usually screen every room in a single visit, which keeps the price per screen lower and gives one tidy, matching finish across the house. Access inside gated communities is never a problem; we arrange the visit with you in advance and bring everything we need on the day, so there is no second trip just to get started. Apartments are quicker still, often just a balcony door and a couple of windows. We cover communities such as Dubai Hills, Arabian Ranches and The Springs, with the same free measurement everywhere.
You do not have to measure perfectly, because the free home visit is where we take the exact sizes. If you just want a rough quote first, measure the width and height of the opening in centimetres and send the numbers and a photo over WhatsApp.
When we visit, we measure the inside of the frame and allow a little for the channel the mesh runs in, then cut the screen to those figures. Measuring properly is what stops light and insects sneaking around the edges, the usual problem with a cheap net that was never made for your window.
UAE summers are hard on cheap screens. Thin nets sag and the mesh tears within a season. Our frames are aluminium and the mesh is Italian, so a screen from us copes with the heat and the dust months far better and keeps working for years.
The fine mesh also holds back a lot of the dust and sand that blows in when a window is open, not just mosquitoes and flies, so your sills and floors stay cleaner. A quick rinse or a soft brush is all the upkeep it needs.
There is a health reason to get screens right, not just a comfort one. The UAE sees seasonal mosquitoes, and the World Health Organization lists window and door screens among the simplest ways to cut mosquito contact inside the home. That matters in a region where mosquito-borne illnesses such as dengue can occur. A well-fitted screen lets you keep windows open for fresh air at night without inviting bites, and it asks for almost nothing in return beyond an occasional rinse. Cheaper screens that warp or tear leave gaps within a season or two, and at that point a fly screen repair or re-mesh is usually cheaper than buying again.
These are the three families of hardware we work with, meaning the tracks, springs and cassettes behind the mesh. German systems are known for very smooth, heavy-duty mechanisms, Italian systems for slim and good-looking profiles, and Turkish systems for strong value on bigger jobs and wide openings.
Most companies here stock only one of these. We keep all three, which is why we can match the system to your opening and your budget instead of forcing the same type onto every window and door. At the measurement we will show you the choices and explain which one suits your situation.
You do not have to use the same system in every part of the house. In one home we might fit a slim Italian profile on the bedroom windows, a heavy-duty German mechanism on a large sliding patio door that gets pulled across many times a day, and a Turkish system on a wide but simple opening, all matched in the same frame colour so they read as one set. Choosing the right mix is exactly the kind of thing that is hard to judge from a photo and easy to settle in person. If you would like us to look at your home and recommend the best combination, book a free measurement and we will take it from there.
Common questions
Prices start at about AED 300 for a fixed fly screen, AED 400 for a single-sided window screen, AED 450 for a double-sided one and AED 700 for a door screen. Large doors can reach around AED 2,400. Add 5% VAT to these. Since every screen is made to measure, the free home visit is the only way to get an exact price, and there is 10% off this month.
A blind screen does two jobs in one frame. One side is a retractable fly screen, the other is a blind. Pull the screen across for fresh air with no insects, or pull the blind across when you want shade and privacy. People often choose it for bedrooms where they want both.
No. We fit every screen with strong double-sided tape, so there are no screws and no holes, and nothing gets damaged. It holds well in the heat and comes off cleanly later, which suits villas, apartments and rented homes alike.
Yes. The Italian mesh is transparent, so you get a clear view outside and the air flows straight through while insects and dust are kept out. The mesh folds to one side or rolls away, and the thin aluminium frame is barely noticeable.
Everything is made to measure in aluminium, up to about 6 metres high and 12 metres wide depending on the system. You can have any frame colour, including a custom RAL shade, and the mesh comes in fibreglass or polyester in black, grey or charcoal.
Usually four to eight working days, because each screen is built to your exact sizes. Fitting is fast: a normal door or window takes about fifteen minutes, and only very large openings take up to an hour.
Yes. We re-mesh and repair retractable and sliding fly screens. If the mesh is worn or torn we replace just the mesh, so the screen works like new and you do not pay for a whole new unit.
Yes. You get five years on the aluminium frame and one year on the mesh. We make the screens in the UAE with Italian mesh and German, Italian and Turkish systems, so they hold up well.
